Ideas with the love story of thisbe and pyramus
I think there are two opposite sides of theme that you can find in the love story, one is positive and the other one is negative.
the negative side of the story is to fight for your love come what may, so you wont regret anything in the end.the kind of love that thisbe and pyramus have is described as forbidden because the world is against it but despite all, the two still find ways so they can be together again.
unfortunately the negative side of the story focus with death as the main solution to escape the world of grief and pain which is absolutely not right.
whatever problems that may come to your life you still need to be strong and fight, move on with your life. the lovers surrender by killing themselves because of the thought that they already lost eachother.

teaching lit exam
Teaching literature exam.
1.) Discuss how modeling and scaffolding affects in the child learning progress.
Modeling and scaffolding are both teaching methods that aims to turn the child into an independent learner. In modeling, from the word itself “model”, the teacher just show how to do a particular thing or shall I say demonstrate something then after that she let’s her learner to do the same thing all by themselves. While in the case of scaffolding it is more on teacher student collaboration learning. The teacher gives hint or assist the child by starting to do an activity but left it undone because the rest will be continue and finish by her student. Modeling and scaffolding affects the child learning progress in a way that it motivates the child to explore more and discover things by depending only to himself. When a child accomplish something by himself, he will gain confidence and starts to believe that he can do more. One important advantage of being an independent learner is that, what the child learns is said to be meaningful because it was them who learns it and because it is meaningful, the learning cant be easily forgotten because it was stored in their long term memory.
2.) construct a concept map showing the advantages and disadvantages of the transmission approach in teaching lit.
“Transmission approach”
Advantages disadvantages
• Easy to use because of it’s familiarity.
• Applicable to most of the subject matter. • No teacher-student interaction since this method is a teacher centered approach.
• Boring in the side of the learner.
• Not so affective in learning progress because students find its boring.
3.) create your own motivational strategy showing the use of student centered theory to introduce a topic in literature. Discuss how you will implement the strategy. Make your own title and identify the materials to be used.
Strategy title : tell me a story
Materials: 5 pictures
I will prepare five pieces of pictures and ask my students to produce a story out of those five pictures. There are no written text in all the pictures that is why my learners will be force to use their imagination creatively. I will use “palabunutan ” method in selecting the students who will make a story. The main motive of this palabunutan method is to make all the students become attentive and to test their creativeness in a situation that they are not prepared.

mythology exam.
Gods and mortals, the position that each one occupied is not equal, there is always a gap between the two of them. one is of course superior than the other and that is non other than the gods. as what I have notice, the mortals worship or adore their gods and the Gods think that it is the right thing to do, but the behavior that most of the gods have in mythology are not rightheous for they have done something that could harm humans and they do it on purpose.Gods should protect and look after the welfare of human being but it is sometimes them who mostly cause danger to humans, because some of them are selfish and always consider themselves firts before the other which is exactly the opposite of the relationship of human to God that bible teaches us.
mythology exam.
what do myths tell us about love.
Myths about love.
there are three things that myths wants to tell us about love.first is, in every relationship it is normal to encounter problems or trials, and like the kind of relationship that two inlove people have, it is normal for them to experience problems or trials.the obstacles that will shower them will test the kind of love they have for each other, if it is real and for eternity or just an admiration that will come and go.if they overcome the trials hand in hand then it means, the love they have is real and everlasting, but if they surrender in the middle of the fight and choose to separate ways to avoid getting hurt more then its not true love.
the second one is, if two people are destined for each other, then no matter what happens,"come what may" at the end of the line it's still the two of them.lots of problems may come and they maybe departed from each others arms but the day will come that, destiny will find a way to make their ways cross again and love will blossom one more time.
The last one is, it is the social status that always become an issue among lovers, which is unfair and not right.People who came from different worlds cant be together because for other people, they are not meant to be. it is always referred as forbidden love, like the love affair of an immortal and a mortal have, many people will always go against and could find ways that can departs them.
the relationship between gods and mortals.
Mortals and non mortals
Gods and mortals, the position that each one occupied is not equal, there is always a gap between the two of them. one is of course superior than the other and that is non other than the gods. as what I have notice, the mortals worship or adore their gods and the Gods think that it is the right thing to do, but the behavior that most of the gods have in mythology are not rightheous for they have done something that could harm humans and they do it on purpose.Gods should protect and look after the welfare of human being but it is sometimes them who mostly cause danger to humans, because some of them are selfish and always consider themselves firts before the other which is exactly the opposite of the relationship of human to God that bible teaches us.

teaching literature
Learning and development is a social collaborative process
Meaningful learning mostly happens when the students are expose into the activities which required much of their participation. Participating in activities helps them construct their own understanding of the topic being taught and what's good on it, is that learning will last for a long time.
parents, teachers and other adults in the learners environment contribute to the process. They explain, model, assist, give directions and provide feedback to the learner. peers on the other hand, cooperate and collaborate and enrich learning experience.
Out of school experiences should be related to the child's school experience.
I think it is the most common and simple principle of all for I am one of those who are familiar with this kind of principle. I think, I can express my views freely by citing an example.
in reading a short story, we can relate with the story and construct meaningful learning if we are to relate our own experience to the experiences of the main character in the story.

Thisbe and Pyramus
The scene: Finally a day came when they could endure no longer. they decide that, that very night they would try to slip away and steal out through the city into the open country where atlas they could be together in freedom. They agreed to meet at a well known place, The tomb of Ninus.
The script of the scene:
Pyramus: My dearest thisbe the love of my life,
My desire to witness your beauty drives me crazy.
I curse this wall standing between us
for it forbids me to see your smile that is brighter than sunshine.
Thisbe: Pyramus, my love.
I am with you,
what you feel is what I feel, and thus,
what you think is what I think.
we're united by love.
this evil wall that divides us cant stop our love
that is pure and eternal.
Pyramus: The world is against us,
But the Gods of Olympus are with us.
Let's end this sorrow
and change this bitter faith,
let's fly like free birds
and escape this cage.
Thisbe: The sound of escape
will put our life at risk,
but danger would not matter
for someone like us,
drowned in the lake of pure love.
Take me with you,
together we will embrace the light of freedom.
Pyramus: When the night crawls
we'll see eachother
in the tomb of ninus.
together hand in hand,
we will witness the first sunrise of freedom.
Thisbe: Anticipate my comming,
a life without you only promises sorrow

assingment in mythology
" My Philosophy as an Educator. "
" A man without a philosophy is like a cripple struggling to walk " (RALPH WALDO EMERSON).
There are many philosophies contributed by many and known personalities, but among those, the above mentioned is my favorite and created an impact in my heart. Why?.... for the simple reason that I believe with what it implies, which is, every man must have a philosophy that he can hold onto.
That is why, as a future educator, it is my philosophy that.... " A teacher, should posses the skill, values, and knowledge in relation to teaching profession and an absence of just one of those will him/her a non effective teacher.
Why did I say so?.....
A person may have all the knowledge in this world and might posses all the values needed, yet, It is not enough for him/her to be consider as an effective teacher if he lacks the skill. Because, how can you transfer your knowledge to your learners, if, you don't know the appropriate approach that you can use to make your students understand the subject content? Same with the situation if it is the values or the knowledge that is lacking, it cant still make you an effective teacher.
It can be compared to the internal organs of the human beings, if one organ malfunctioned, you cant be called healthy, but if all organs are on its perfect conditions and thus, functions well, then your healthy.
Knowledge is the information you pass onto your learners, skills on the other hand, is your tool so you can deliver your discussions well and values is your potion that can make the students be motivated to participate. These three things must come altogether if we aim to become an effective teacher and not just merely teachers.

assignment inteaching literature
version: The story of Promitheus and Epimitheus.
Symbolism:
there are two symbolism that can be detected from the first scene - first, epimitheus actions, symbolizes favoritism or the act of being Bias , because he almost gave everything to the lower creatures not even thinking the needs of the other creatures(human).
- 2nd, epimetheus actions just show how careless and how impulsive he was, because he didn't think of anything else or considering other things in every action he engage in. in other words he symbolizes a person who does not possess critical thinking that made him a not good decision maker.
Real life situation: I can relate this scene to a common issue among siblings, which is jealousy. parents sometimes became bias or show favoritism unintentionally whenever they compare their children towards each other, they praise one and scold the other. this makes the child feels that her parents loves her other siblings more that they love her.
2nd scene:
promitheus then, took over the task of creation and thought out a way to make mankind superior. He fashioned them in a nobler shape than the animals, Upright like the gods.
Symbolizes:
promitheus actions, symbolizes smartness and creativeness, because he was able to find ways that can make mankind superior than the rest creatures knowing the fact that there was no left for them for almost everything was given to the animals.Real life situation:
I can compare promitheus to a president who is out to do his obligation and accomplish things though there are many things that may hinder him from doing so. a president like ninoy aquino whose heavy task is to produce projects out of so little budget has to be creative so he will be able to produce the output (economic progress, employment for every Filipino and so on) that he promise us.Posted by: Ma.
